The Chopstop Mod 1 has wings that extend beyond the sides of the handstop, providing a secure fit for your handguard. This design offers more surface area for your support hand and eliminates overhanging side edges. Furthermore, this design contributes to making the Mod 1 the closest-fitting handstop currently available on the market and the original, iconic, and sleek look for which it has become known for.
Each Chopstop features an 82° forward swept serrated textured face, proprietary subtle side texturing, and a serrated concave rear thumb cutout granting enhanced stability and control when shooting-off barricades.
The front cutout enables the seamless interfacing of M-LOK accessories directly into the handstop for a gap free transition. Max accessory width: 0.266" / 15.75mm
Integrated cable management channels accept wires up to 3.5mm in diameter (Surefire/Unity cables). Four dedicated cable entrance/exit channels located on the sides and rear of the handstop support multi-switch configurations. When not in use, additional cables may be routed through the Direct Accessory Interface cutout for expanded capability and routing options.

The Chopstop product line currently consists of 3 different offerings.
Chopstop Mod 1 - The original "winged" variant that eliminates overhanging edges on the handguard.
Chopstop Mod 2 - Traditional "flat mounting top". Universally compatible with all M-LOK systems including wider non-standard handguards that the Mod 1 is not compatible with.
Chopstop Mod 3 - Specifically adapted for picatinny rail systems.
The question we get most is "which is right for me?" The answer is simply, it depends.
If you have a picatinny rail, then the easy answer is to go with the Mod 3. For Mod 1 vs Mod 2, its all about personal preference assuming your current M-LOK handguard is compatible with the Mod 1. Individuals with larger hands tend to prefer the Mod 1 due to its increased surface area. Mounting a Mod 3 to an M-LOK picatinny section has been a popular choice for individuals with even larger hands or for those who just want a little bit more handstop coming off their rails.
The Chopstop Mod 1 follows Magpul's TDP for Type 2 M-LOK accessories. Handguard specifications for compatibility with the Mod 1 are as follows:
It is important to note that anything exceeding these specification will probably require modification to the handstop for proper fitment. Some examples wider non-standard handguards from Noveseke, Hodge, Aero Percision Enhanced Rails, SCAR/AK rails, the SIG M400 and MCX Virtus rails.

M-lok fits great very solid materials. Looks 3-d printed. Quality product. If you have any issues Drew is the man he will take care of you cant recommend these products enough. Will be acquiring more
Didn’t think it would fit my MCX virtus but when it arrived I put that bad boy in and it fit perfectly. Amazing product I was skeptical at first with it being 3D printed but it feels really good in hand. Love it!!! Get you one!
